Empower your community with love:
Dell Children’s Blood & Cancer Center teamed up with Austin stylist Aysa Pena Province for a celebration of life on the runway.

Humanitarian Aysa Province envisioned an inspiring atmosphere for The Hungry Bunch to exude their life and love.
Aysa Province is an Austin stylist, who has volunteered for over three years at the Dell Children’s Medical Center of Central Texas. After collaborating with her peers for The Hungry Bunch prom, Aysa wanted to take her vision of fashion and mesh it with empowering these children to celebrate their lives in a new format: the runway.
The Hungry Bunch is a support group for the teens from the blood and cancer center. It’s a way of empowering each other to feel good and make friends with those who understand. This support group is imperative to the teens, who inspire each other and their families to come together.
Working tirelessly to find sponsors to help these children and teens get a special day of fashion and celebration, Aysa put her heart and soul into this passion project. This was the second annual CBCC Fashion Show and Aysa reminisced about the first one,
“Both the boys and girls who participated absolutely loved it. They were stunning and so beautiful. Some even too sick to really do it….fought through it just to be a part of it. I saw parents smile with pride and cry with happiness.”
Sponsors (listed below) helped make this night one for the children to remember. While I was working with Aysa to plan the event photography with my team, it was such a pleasure to see her dedication and efforts to giving these children their own fashion week.
Community members pitched in to offer items for a silent auction and swag bags for the children, as well as offering the Fair Market to showcase the joyous occasion. All of the money raised from the fashion show went directly to The Hungry Bunch support group at the cancer clinic.
